Power over Ethernet simplifies Wi-Fi installations by delivering power over the same data cable that connects to a Wi-Fi Access Point. The Aruba Instant On PoE Injector adds Power over Ethernet to an existing cabled non-PoE connection. Use this with Aruba Instant On AP11, AP11D, AP12, AP17, AP22, and AP25 models where you may wish to use PoE power but non-PoE switches are in place. One PoE injector supports providing PoE power to one Access Point
- Delivers Class 4 PoE power over Ethernet cabling. Complies with IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet standard supplying up to 30W out of the injector
- Ethernet cable goes from non-PoE switch into the Injector. A separate Ethernet cable goes with PoE from Injector to broader network. Typically Injector is placed next to the switch. Power is delivered to the Injector from a cord (ordered separately) plugged into a local outlet
- Compatible with Aruba Instant On Access Points AP11, AP11D, AP12, AP17, AP22, and AP25 models
- Supports Gigabit speed connections between switch and Injector, transmitting data at same Gigabit speed to the remote device
- Power cord must be ordered separately
