The Juniper EX2300-48P provides 48 Gigabit copper access ports with PoE+ for wired endpoints and powered network devices. Four SFP+ uplinks provide higher-speed connections from an access closet to the rest of the network. It is an option for deployments that need many Gigabit PoE connections without multigigabit copper access ports.

Choosing your configuration
The -48P is the powered 48-port model; the -48T does not supply PoE. Plan both the power drawn by connected devices and the capacity of the uplinks. If endpoints need multigigabit speeds, compare an appropriate multigigabit access switch rather than assuming a 10G uplink makes the copper access ports 10G.
