About the EX9208-CHAS3-S
The EX9208 is the 8-slot model in Juniper’s EX9200 family of modular core switches for campus and data-center networks. This part number is the spare chassis only: the 8U enclosure with its passive midplane. It is used to replace a damaged chassis or to build a system from separately ordered parts.
For a complete system, order the EX9208-BASE3C-AC (one EX9200-RE2 routing engine, one EX9200-SF3 module and three 2520 W AC power supplies) or the EX9208-RED3C-AC (two routing engines, two SF3 modules and four 2520 W AC power supplies).
