The QFX5110-48S-AFI2 provides the SFP+ access layout in the QFX5110 family, with 48 SFP+ ports and four QSFP28 connections. It serves data-center access and aggregation using AC power and back-to-front airflow. It runs Junos OS with base features, and AFI2 is the current part number for the earlier AFI hardware.

Does it work out of the box without a license?
Yes. The standard software provides many features without a tier license on the 48x SFP+, 4x QSFP28 ports; Advanced 1, Advanced 2 and Cloud-based threat feeds are add-ons, listed in Support & Licensing above. Juniper Care is offered too.
Did the hardware change with the AFI2 and AFO2 part numbers?
Same hardware.. Juniper’s AFI2 and AFO2 part numbers cover the same hardware as the earlier AFI and AFO versions. It has 48x SFP+, 4x QSFP28 and 2x JPSU-650W-AC-AFI.
