Description

The Cisco IE-2000-8TC-L is a rugged industrial Ethernet switch designed for use in harsh environments. It is part of the Cisco Industrial Ethernet (IE) 2000 series of switches, which are built to withstand extreme temperatures, vibration, and shock.

Unlike other switches in the IE 2000 series, the IE-2000-8TC-L does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE) or PoE+. Instead, it has six 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports and two Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports for fiber optic connections. This makes it suitable for industrial settings where PoE is not needed, but high-speed connectivity is still a requirement.

In addition to its Ethernet connectivity, the IE-2000-8TC-L also has a serial console port for local management, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.

Overall, the Cisco IE-2000-8TC-L is a reliable and versatile industrial Ethernet switch that can withstand the challenges of harsh industrial environments, while providing high-speed connectivity without the need for PoE.
